New Development Circle Added!

Hey, everyone!

I'm adding another development circle to my calendar of events - for the first and third Sundays, and the first one will be this coming Sunday, August 21st at 5 pm.

DEVELOPMENT CIRCLE
5 - 7 pm
1st & 3rd Sundays, starting August 21
$20
Maximum of 8 people

Join us in this fascinating and productive group! Each Sunday will have different but great results - in a relaxed setting, we practice creating a circle of energy and discerning how it feels, what it consists of and working with it, because it amplifies and reinforces the rest of what we do. We practice meeting, talking and working with our spirit guides, and if our loved ones come in, so much the better! In doing so, we are strengthening our own various psychic abilities and learning more about them. We also work on grounding and centering the energies when we're done - all of which comes in handy any time you do your own meditations, psychic works, and being among people with difficult energies. This is a very practical, hands-on (or minds-on) ongoing circle, and newcomers are always welcome, while returning participants can come and go any time. With that kind of mix, you learn to work with different energies each time. I don't do readings - rather, I lead, facilitate, and monitor the circle, and I toss out questions, suggestions, and a comment or two on the energies surrounding each participant. If you have dowsing rods, whether home-made or purchased, bring 'em. They help to make the energies "visible"!

Eat lightly beforehand and dress comfortably. The Monday development circle (at my home) continues as usual - and what fun it is!

August Doings with Sue!

Hello, everyone!

I'll freely admit I'm no fan of hot summer weather - but summer does have several lovely things going for it. A pool on a hot day, the grill going, and sitting on my patio in the morning, enjoying the blooms of the geraniums, pansies and sky blue morning glories. My apartment has a lot of windows and I love the way the light pours in from dawn to sunset, changing each hour. It's also a more sociable time - I've been reconnecting with people I haven't seen in years (one visit was with women I haven't seen in over forty years!), and I've made the drives to Carpinteria and Santa Barbara, and to the San Jose area. Such drives let my mind rest and expand and declutter. (Speaking of decluttering...I'm mapping out a strategy for cleaning out my garage...wish me luck!)

I know many of you are doing the same - staying cool, taking vacations, making the most of the slow days of August. Putting on my astrologer's hat...The planet Mercury is retrograde until August 26th - it rules communications and travels of all kinds. It doesn't actually go backward - but to our eyes, via the telescope, it appears to do so. This happens three times a year, for about 21 to 24 days at a time, and we are asked to go within and sort out our selves. When we ignore that, communications seem to go more haywire than usual because we're dealing more with the external world than the internal world and it's a case of "when worlds collide." Plans suddenly become altered, travels may be delayed, electronics can malfunction, an item purchased may not work the way it's supposed to, things or thoughts get misplaced, courses of action started peter out or have vastly different outcomes, and misunderstandings are par for the course. On the other hand, lost items suddenly resurface in unexpected places, one hears from people out of the blue, ideas or concepts become more clear, repairs straighten things out. As a rule of thumb, think of all words that begin with "re" - relax, reorganize, rejuvenate, regress, repair, renegotiate, replenish, return, remember, revisit; the list goes on! They are the keywords for any Mercury retrograde. Take the time to slow down, think twice, plan thrice, and go with the flow! For those of us born with Mercury retrograde - I'm one of them - we welcome you to our landscape. ;-)

No spirit circle is ever the same! I bring through your loved ones (two-footed and four-footed) with love and laughter, as well as messages on an as-needed basis from the guides. No one leaves without being in touch with a loved one - and it's a great joy for me to bring them through. They tell me it's such a joy, too, for them to connect with us like this even though they're around us a lot of the time. Join us for a great afternoon of communications!

There will be no classes or workshops until September because people are wrapping up summer, dealing with back to school shopping or college financial aid, and I'm still scoping out locations in Fullerton for The Owl's Lantern. However, I'm always available for private readings, whether one on one or for private spirit circles, at my place or at yours. Contact me if you're interested and have dates in mind, and I'll check my calendar. And if you are interested in private workshops, let me know. For those of you who live over 50 miles away, I'm always willing to travel to your area - I would be interested in doing a development circle on a monthly or semi-monthly basis in the north San Diego county area, and I need no prompting to jump in my car and drive up to Carpinteria, a town that is near and dear to my heart. For the Bay Area, contact me and we'll get something worked out! Ditto for Arizona and other nearby states.

EXTRA!! I'm considering putting together a trip to Sedona, Arizona and guiding people to the vortex areas in early to mid-October (my guides have told me to do this). Please contact me if you're interested and I'll send you a brief outline of what I have in mind.
